Be that woman that will mention another woman’s name in a room full of opportunities.

Encouraging women to collaborate and not compete

“The sense of competition between women is often unspoken and not overtly encouraged, yet it exists. Research indicates that women have had complex relationships with one another, marked by both competition and cooperation, throughout human history.

Throw in the uphill battle for social and political power in the modern era, and it’s perhaps unsurprising that women can sometimes see other women’s success as threatening to their own.

That isn’t really how it works, though. It’s not like there’s a finite amount of female good fortune to go around. Success is not pie.”

Why is the ‘Say my Name’ program so important to the women in your organisation?

Statistically we know that if women support other women, it elevates them and helps them become more successful.

The ‘Say my Name’ program is designed to provide multiple role models to show women how to mention another woman’s name in a room full of opportunities.

Tailored to meet the needs of your organisation.

The ‘Say my Name’ program takes your female talent
through 6-12 months of online events, each hosted by
different women.

Every event helps the women in your organisation to
understand the benefits of women supporting women in a diverse and inclusive business environment where equality is paramount.

It also provides them with role models.

The goal of the program is

CONNECTION

INSPIRATION

SUPPORT

We put women CEOs and other extraordinary female experts in conversation with the women in your organisation. All represent outstanding role models and the program can be tailored to align with your values and goals. Similarly, we can include interviews with your female leaders as part of the program.

This program is critical now

The ‘Say My Name’ program is reinforced by recent research in the Harvard Business Review which found that, unlike men, who can have supporters of any gender to succeed, women with an inner circle of close female contacts are more likely to land executive positions.

Problem

Women face cultural and systemic hurdles, including unconscious bias, as they try to rise up into leadership positions.

Solution

Women forming close connections with other women for support and sharing experiences with those who have been there, and done that to learn.

Inclusive Womens Business Network

and your organisation.
As examples, topics you may wish to cover can include:

  • Imposter syndrome
  • Perfectionism
  • Personal resilience
  • Inclusive leadership
  • Building your brand
  • Building your network
  • Gender equality
  • Disability in the workplace
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Parenthood and work
  • Ageism
  • Racism

The program’s three key elements

There are three distinct components to the online ‘Say My Name’ online event program:

Lunch and Learn

These 45-60 minute online sessions are all about upskilling.

Facilitated with women at the top of their game and focused on topics of specific relevance to the women in your workplace, they also boost confidence and workplace wellness.

We will tailor the content and the expert speakers to align with your values and goals (ie. ageism, leadership, racism, parenting and work etc) and as the women get to know each other at each event, they will start to form closer bonds and get to know each other better.

We recommend one per month.

Women’s Podcast Spotlight

Our Podcast Series is bold and uplifting. The series allows women to get to know and learn from
their women leaders.

We create an interview series that spotlights your female trail-blazers: their career path and learnings
along the way.

You may choose to use the podcasts internally, as inspiration, or externally, as an incentive for other women to join your organisation.

We recommend two episodes a month.

She’s a CEO – Interview and Q&A

You can select from our large number of high-profile female CEO contacts, both in Australia and
globally.

These interviews are highly motivating. They encourage connectedness and reinforce the value in
‘mentioning another woman’s name’ as your team steps up and takes on new challenges!

We recommend monthly interviews, managed by the ‘Say My Name’ program founder, Jules Brooke. After an in-depth interview, Jules invites questions from the women participants in the session.

Included in your ‘Say my Name’ program

You can leave it up to us! Once you have approved this program, we organise everything that is required. Your only role is to promote it internally within your organisation.

Program longevity

We recommend a 12 month program to get real benefit. However, a six month program can be tailored based on your priorities.

Size of group

To maximise participation, we recommend groups of 20 with a cap at 30 per group. Should you wish to involve more women participants in this program, we would be pleased to organise additional groups.
